*This position will work out of our Murrieta Hospital Location.

 

The Recruiter recruits, screens, interviews, and generates hiring and strategic sourcing activities for assigned Loma Linda University Health entities. Works closely with organizational leaders and managers to assist them in filling their vacancies by providing instruction and training on navigating the Applicant Tracking System to create requisitions, providing qualified candidates, offering hiring recommendations and assisting in the offer process. Works closely with Human Resource Business Partners to better understand and advise departmental needs as it relates proper retention of staff and provides instruction, advice and training as it relates to the hiring process. Develops strategies to attract passive and active job seekers to fill difficult positions. Participates in various sourcing activities including social media outlets, off-site recruitment events and establishing partnerships with both internal and external schools, colleges and organizations. Performs other duties as needed.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Nursing or related field required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in Recruiting preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in healthcare preferred.

Knowledge of internet browsing and Social Media preferred. Able to present in front of a group, ability to prioritize effectively and manage time well. Able to read, write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
