Bachelor’s Degree required or an additional five years of experience required in lieu of degree. Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum three years of campaign, advancement, or development experience required.

Good personal diplomacy and multi-cultural understanding. Knowledge and understanding of gift agreements. Computer skills to include experience with Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft Office Suite, and internet search engines, and ability to operate office machines. Must be able to communicate effectively in writing, on the telephone, one-on-one, and large/diverse audience including senior administration, trustees, donors, prospects, co-workers, and other employees. Collaborative, engaging, leadership presence, polished social and public speaking/presentation skills. Good listener and instincts with others. Mentoring style toward staff and strong organizational skills are important. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required. Comfortable with high net worth individuals and corporate leaders. Demonstrated ability to organize a complex program. Responsive and flexible with excellent follow-through. Demonstrates excellent analytical and strategic thought processes; ability to problem solve with a sound and creative approach. Able to plan strategically and comprehensively. Ability to see, hear, and speak well enough to perform job duties.

Valid Driver’s License required at time of hire.
