High School Diploma or GED preferred. Minimum one year of related work experience preferred.

Broad knowledge of trends and new equipment in audio recording, sound reinforcement, etc. Able to use a computer and all software necessary to the position. Able to use spreadsheets and word processing as well as other standard office applications. Expertise in two or more modern programming languages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate on the phone. Able to deal effectively with people and elicit support from other department areas and users. Able to analyze and interpret and process data and needs based on limited information. Able to organize work, define problems and solutions, and make recommendations. Must have knowledge of effective planning and design techniques. Able to work effectively on multiple projects required. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
